SATWA WAVE RESIDENCES

Project overview:
Satwa Wave Residences is conceived as a sculptural reinterpretation of Old Satwa's urban memory. The façade unfolds in a series of fluid, undulating curves, shaped by solar orientation to regulate light, shade, and heat. The geometry is expressive and functional at once: it enhances passive cooling, maximizes daylight, and frames outward views, allowing the building to shift in character through the day. Set within a predominantly orthogonal context, it announces itself quietly — distinct, but not detached.
Inside, the architecture carries the same language. Soft, flowing forms and a tactile material palette create interiors reminiscent of eroded stone, ocean waves, or biological growth — surfaces that catch light differently as one moves through. The spaces are continuous, immersive, and quietly sculptural; the building's calm is not background, but built in.
